SPRING CONFERENCE 2010
Estonian Rectors Council of Applied Universities organizes a cooperation conference and innovation fair "Entrepreneurship, Initiative and Innovation in Universities of Applied Sciences". It will take place on April 7, 2010 at Estonian IT College (Raja 4C, Tallinn).
The target group consists of entrepreneurs, leaders, high school students, representatives of student companies, teachers, Estonian Association of Parents, representatives of boards of guardians and boards of governors.

"The role of Estonian higher education in bringing about a new wave of economic growth"
In order to link higher education better to the expectations of the society and those of the students as well as to the needs of the labour market, the representatives of the state, the enterprises, the institution of higher education and the students will have a chance to speak during the three main sessions of the conference.

The Information Gateway of Universities of Applied Sciences (UAS) contains information regarding news, supplementary trainings and events of universities who have joined the Rectors Council of Applied Universities (RCAU).
The aim of the portal is to provide all of the information available on joint activities of universities of applied sciences and to serve as an important source of information regarding applied sciences and lifelong learning.
Great attention has been paid to describing projects carried out together and ensuring better availability of the results and news about the information gateway.
Events of the past:
1. At the end of each academic year the RCAU chooses the best final papers and awards their authors with 5,000 EEK scholarships.
2. In April 2008, the conference Lifelong Learning – the Development Engine of Estonia took place at the Conference Centre of the Estonian National Library.
