On October, 23, RKRN vision day Where are you going, Estonian (Professional) Higher Education? was held in Tallinn, in TTK UAS.
Rectors, politicians, students and employers discussed the role of (professional) higher education, the current status and the future directions of higher education in Estonia.
At the end of the day three important prospects of Estonian professional higher education were brought up:
* professional higher education deserves continuous and lasting promotion,
* higher education funding needs a new financial perspective,
* flexible forms of learning must be encouraged and lifelong learning should be supported.
