photo From May 10 to May 14 members of the RCUAS’ visited the IUT Valence and Université de Grenoble in France in order to get acquainted with the higher education system and compare it with Estonia’s. In France the applied higher education is offered mainly in IUT’s, higher education is free or very low tuition fee.
France is going through the mergering process of university and/or university institutes aimed at achieving greater visibility in society, even internationally, and allow for a more multidisciplinary approach. Although the proportion of foreign students in France is very high in the world the idea is to increase the mobility even further by offering more and more English-language programs. One aim of the visit was the establishment of contacts for further cooperation between Estonian and French higher education institutions.
In a visit to France participated Enno Lend, Krista Tuulik, Anneli Kannus, Ülle Ernits, Helle Noorväli, Tiit Roosmaa, Jaan Tamm, Lauri Tabur, Roomet Leiger, Toomas Undusk, Vallo Nuust and Jana Praun.
