On September 15 the special commission elected the best research of the contest of applied researches.
The winners are Tanel Uibokand and Kaur Vahtrik from TTK UAS. The aim of their thesis was to find a natural resource which is rapidly renewable, by the implementation of an alternative, reduction of excessive consumption of long-renewable and non-renewable natural resources will be potentially possible.

The contest was carried out in collaboration with the Foundation of Estonian UAS and Tallinn Enterprise Board. Festive award ceremony took place in Kalev’s sports hall on October 4, 2017.
